Bryn Mawr Farmers Market: Farm-Fresh Produce and Artisan Groceries Now Through April

February 21, 2018

Treats from Firehouse Donuts. Herbal teas from Tooth of the Lion Apothecary Farm. Hard cider from Frecon Farms. If you think that farmers markets are strictly fruits and veggies, local products like these will prove you wrong. They're all available at the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market, the biggest market of its kind on the Main Line.

From January through April, local farmers and trending vendors set up their booths in the Amtrak station parking lot across from the Ludington Library every first, third, and fifth Saturday of the month. Swing by from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to browse the inventory. Certified organic Two Gander Farm brings its seasonal veggies and fruits. Canter Hill offers up sustainably raised meats (including ostrich!) and eggs. Wild Flour Bakery and Amaranth Gluten-Free Bakery dole out loaves of bread and other baked goods. Come to the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market to stock your fridge and support community farmers.
