Cafe Lift is only open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and there’s a good reason why. The eatery specializes strictly in creative, locally sourced brunch food. The original cafe in Philadelphia drew such a loyal following that, in August, its owners debuted a new location in Narberth.
The new Cafe Lift dishes out the same inventive brunch with boozy brunch drinks to match. Order the Pop’s Cold Brew, a blend of whiskey, porter, cold-brew syrup, and maple syrup, and pore over the menu of brunch bites. If you’re craving eggs, try the Philly-inspired egg cheesesteak, a local pretzel bun stuffed with shaved ribeye, caramelized onions, mild provolone cheese, spicy mayo, and an over-easy egg. When you’re craving something sweet, opt for the cannoli French toast, soaked in cinnamon-vanilla custard and loaded with bananas, chocolate chips, pistachios, and a creamy ricotta cannoli filling.
