A Fourth of July fireworks display is as American as apple pie, and Narberth hosts one of the best on the Main Line every year. The Narberth Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks boasts the biggest turnout of any other public Independence Day parties in the area. Be part of the fun this year and head to the Narberth Playground and surrounding grounds on July 4th.

The day begins with a free 4th of July fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family-friendly activities range from a pie-eating contest to a basketball shooting contest. Watch as little ones show off their patriotic costumes in the Baby Parade and as pint-sized athletes compete in the 30-yard dash or wheelbarrow race. Then come back to the park at 7:30 p.m. for a concert by The Zing Kings followed by a few patriotic awards and, when darkness falls, the splashy fireworks show (around 9 p.m.). All the fun is free, so bring along friends and family.
