Head to Harriton House for an Apple Festival on October 15th

October 11, 2016

On October 15th at 3 p.m., the historic Harriton House hosts an informative and delicious event featuring plenty of autumn’s most bountiful fruits and veggies. Learn about the importance of apples in colonial America and their main uses. Beyond learning, there will be plenty of eating. Guests can taste different varieties of apples—sweet, tart, crunchy, and more—while deciding which apples they want to bring home for themselves. Lots of apple cider will be available too. Bakers are invited to create their best apple pie for the apple pie contest. Pies will be judged on taste, crust, filling, and appearance.

The festival is happening at Harriton House, which is only two miles from Radwyn Apartments, and the cost is just $6 per person. Checking out this apple-filled festival is a great way to celebrate autumn, so don't miss it!
