Good beer, good food, and good music are the components that make Narberth Oktoberfest such a popular event on the Main Line. The crisp autumn air and changing leaves are just an added perk of attending Narberth Oktoberfest 2016, which is slated to unfold along Forrest Avenue in downtown Narberth on Saturday, October 1st.
From 6 to 10 p.m., Oktoberfest draws crowds out into the street to sample a slew of local beers. Your ticket grants you unlimited tastings of the different local suds, so try as many as you like. There will also be fresh food from nearby restaurants, which means you don’t have to worry about finding sustenance to soak up the suds. The pig roast, in particular, will provide plenty of piping-hot fare. Expect traditional German grub too, such as bratwurst, soft pretzels, and sauerkraut.
