From the moment you step inside Casablanca Moroccan Cuisine, its rich decor whisks you away to the shores of Africa. Ornate low-set tables, colorful bench seating, and stunning tapestries on the walls create a lavish atmosphere, which is the perfect setting in which to enjoy the chef’s authentic Moroccan dishes.
The eatery opened in February with a menu of Moroccan apps and entrees, as well as a prix-fixe seven-course feast. If you decide to dine a la carte, start by sharing some small plates like the house-made hummus with fresh pita and the stuffed grape leaves. Then enjoy a signature main dish, like the samke harra, a filet of baked salmon seasoned with tahini, garlic, cumin, onion, pine nuts, lemon juice, and parsley. You can also devour kabobs packed with shrimp, lamb, or chicken embellished with traditional seasonings.
