Pizza and beer make the perfect pair at Lovecchio's Pizza, not far from Radwyn Apartments. Granted, the pizzeria doesn't actually serve beer in-house—but it's right next to a beer distributor, so you can grab a pie for takeout and then stop by for a six-pack. Many patrons opt for delivery, however, so in that case you'll have to break out some brewskies already stowed in the fridge.
Lovecchio's turns the traditional concept of pizza on its head, offering creative pies like the Upside Down Pizza, which puts the sauce on the top and the cheese on bottom. There's also the Philly Cheesesteak pie smothered with a mix of mozzarella, shredded steak, and, of course, Cheez Whiz. Strombolis, steak sandwiches, burgers, and other classic Italian dishes round out the menu at Lovecchio's Pizza.
