Recently opened by Philly native Carlos Fink, Xolo Tacos infuses Bryn Mawr with some much-needed color. This relatively casual Mexican restaurant not far from Radwyn Apartments boasts cuisine that's anything but boring, and the same could be said for its decor. From the warm orange hues on the wall to the vibrant tiled fireplace in the dining room, every element has been carefully chosen to reflect the fiery flavors in the fare.
Tacos are, unsurprisingly, the main event at Xolo Tacos. Order your set stuffed with roast pork and pineapple, seared chicken breast, or spicy Mexican sausage. You can even indulge in some seafood at Xolo if you opt for the spicy shrimp or tilapia tacos. Don't eat meat? Xolo can still accommodate you. Its list of vegetarian tacos is just as enticing as the meat portion of the menu, including mushroom, zucchini, and cactus leaf tacos. There's even a corn fungus taco if you're feeling particularly adventurous.
