On Sunday, May 5th, the Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Show will take over six blocks of Germantown Avenue, right in the heart of the neighborhood’s community of small businesses. More than 150 home and garden vendors will show off beautiful displays and tout modern products from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You’ll find everything from landscaping to garden sculpture exhibits, right alongside heirloom vegetable plants, baskets of flourishing flowers, terrariums, and even bee-keeping tools. Check out handcrafted furniture and quilts, jewelry and clothing, and arts and collectibles from local artists and vendors. There will also be live music and lots of hot food. This year, for the first time, the outdoor show will attract local food trucks like Hardy’s Funnel Cake, Kona Ice, and Barkley’s BBQ. Grab some grub and explore the classic car show or check out the book sale at the Chestnut Hill Library.
