Healthful fare with a bit of an edge is what you’ll find at Kayas. Located just a short drive from Radwyn Apartments in Havertown, Kayas is a sophisticated BYOB with a menu of fusion food. Here you’ll find New American dishes with flavors influenced by international cuisines. There’s little in the way of a set menu, though: Kayas’s proprietors plan the menu around what’s freshest and in season, and present it to diners on a chalkboard.
That may sound a little opaque, but Kayas works to be very transparent about the source of its ingredients. Many dishes include fresh fruits and veggies gotten from Main Line farmers markets, and this place also offers fair trade coffee from One Village Coffee and grass-fed steaks from nearby farms. The interior’s upscale and refined, creating the proper scene for a fine meal. Kayas can be rented for private events, and also occasionally hosts classes on cooking and special event menus.
