Since its founders launched the first cafe in Philadelphia two decades ago, La Colombe has expanded to major cities across the country—New York, Boston, Chicago, and DC, to name just a few. Last year, the artisan coffee roasters brought their high-quality, carefully sourced java to Bryn Mawr when they opened a new cafe on Lancaster Ave.
No matter the time of year, La Colombe’s cold draft brews always tantalize taste buds. Before every coffeehouse across the country added cold-brew java to their menu, La Colombe had already unveiled its Pure Black cold-pressed coffee in bottles. At the cafe, you can indulge in a glass fresh from the tap. La Colombe also pours a draft latte with cold-pressed espresso and chilled, foamy milk. The Pure Black and Tan combines both draft brews. If you’re looking for a way to warm up, order a hot mocha, a cortado, or a simple cup of drip coffee. This comfortable cafe is the perfect spot for tired students to get a pick-me-up close to their apartments near Bryn Mawr College.
