J. Alexander's Restaurant launched in Nashville more than two decades ago, but the upscale steakhouse only came to the Northeast in May. That was when it opened the doors to a new location in King of Prussia, right across the way from the sprawling mall. In its short lifespan, the new branch of J. Alexander's has already won over local diners with its upscale atmosphere and revamped American cuisine.
They highly recommend that you start your meal with the Avocado Bomb, an Americanized version of Japanese sushi, and a round of deviled eggs embellished with sugar-cured bacon and house-made pickle relish. Add a glass of wine or a pint of beer to the mix, and then order your entree. Dig into an old-fashioned cheeseburger topped with Tillamook, a center-cut filet mignon smothered with bearnaise, or jumbo lump Carolina crab cakes with chili mayo and Fallot mustard sauce.
