It takes countless hours and tons of talent to bring THE GLOW | A Jack O’lantern Experience into existence. Artists work tirelessly to hand-carve more than 5,000 pumpkins, which line the edges of "Jack’s Lane" (actually Parkside Avenue) in West Fairmount Park every fall. THE GLOW returned to Philadelphia on October 4th and runs through the 28th.
Grab a ticket online ($23+) and head to the park at a designated time, unless you spring for the anytime ticket, to check out the lineup of jack-o-lanterns. Some of the artists who crafted them will be on hand doing live carving demos and taking requests from the crowd. There will be some autumn-inspired snacks and drinks for sale, so grab a bite or a beverage and take the 45-minute stroll along Jack’s Lane with a friend or two in tow
