The 8th Annual Haverford Music Festival returns to the Main Line on Saturday, September 8th from noon to 9:30 p.m., led by local indie-folk station 88.5 WXPN. The free festival always attracts crowds thanks to more than 30 musical performances unfolding across its four stages all day long.
The musicians hail from all around the country, some of them nationally known acts and others local talents. If you're familiar with the soulful duo The Civil Wars, then you already know John Paul White. He was part of the Grammy-winning pair until 2014, when he decided to branch out on his own. He's headlining the 8th Annual Haverford Music festival along with power-pop band Sloan, crooners/sisters Lily & Madeline, and other acts. Two beer gardens, a moon bounce and a playground, and lots of food complement the live performances at the free music festival.
