Mom’s Organic Market was the obvious name for Scott Nash’s small delivery business in 1987—after all, he was operating out of his mom’s garage. Scott used his sister’s old beat-up Chevy Malibu station wagon to deliver fresh, organic produce to his customers each night. By the early ‘90s, Mom’s had a permanent location. Today, it boasts stores sprinkled across four states, including one right in Bryn Mawr.
Scott Nash and his team take the guiding philosophy of the original delivery business—to deliver fresh, organic foods with a smile—and continue to run with it today at their retail locations. In fact, the market sells the highest percentage of organic groceries compared to other stores, and it only offers certified organic produce. They only carry products with ingredients that meet rigorous standards—no high-risk GMOs allowed. So you can feel confident that you’re getting the highest quality groceries at Mom’s, from the colorful produce to the freshly roasted coffee to the grass-fed meats and free-range eggs.
