The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair debuted more than 120 years ago as a modest local event that unfolded over the course of a single day. Today, it has exploded into a 10-day affair that attracts equine enthusiasts from all across the globe. In fact, it’s become such a big deal that the horses that compete in the Grand Prix spend a year completing the qualifying process just to get their names on the roster.
The Grand Prix is the main event, so don’t miss the multiple horse races over the course of the event. Make sure you also check out the boutiques housed within cottages on the grounds, selling everything you need to become an equestrian or commemorate your time at the Devon Horse Show. You can also expect lots of fresh festival food, carnival rides, and game booths. The festival kicks off on May 23rd and runs through June 2nd.
