Exciting news: The Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival returns for its 10th anniversary this July at Saunders Park Green in West Philly. The festival returns this summer with a variety of fun outdoor activities that last all day long—from 12 to 7 p.m. on July 16. This year, the festival puts the focus on women in jazz by featuring a lineup of female jazz musicians to perform throughout the day. The featured musicians consist of everyone from Laurin Talese (a jazz singer) to Nzinga Banks (a jazz saxophonist).
In addition to music, guests of the festival can look forward to plenty of food and drinks from area food trucks as well as shopping from local vendors. Admission to the festival is free and there is ample free parking close to the festival too. Residents of Radwyn Apartments who are interested in attending this festival don’t have to travel far to get there; the festival is happening less than 10 miles from Radwyn Apartments.
