Located just off Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, you'll find the Lancaster County Farmers' Market, a farmers' market with deep ties to Lancaster County. This popular Main Line market, just a short drive from Radwyn Apartments, got its start in the early 1930s when a handful of intrepid farmers from the Pennsylvania town of Ephrata ventured to our area to sell poultry. The handful of farmers evolved to comprise many farmers, and the market was born.
The market's ownership has since changed hands, but the emphasis remains the same: fresh, high-quality meats, produce, cheese, baked goods, and handcrafted wares. The Lancaster County Farmers' Market is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Ample free parking is offered.
