Let's Cultivate Food started as a traveling cooking class company, and it continues to host more than 100 cooking classes per year in private homes. But since opening five years ago, it's gained such a loyal following that it now has a permanent storefront in Manayunk, too. Let's Cultivate Food also hosts cooking classes here and even throws the occasional party, like the upcoming Margaritaville Themed Food Party.
On Friday, July 7th, Let's Cultivate Food promises three hours of food and fun starting at 7 p.m. You won't actually have to do any of the cooking; it's not a cooking class but rather a happy hour with appetizers. They include tequila lime and coconut shrimp bites, guac and salsa, and margherita-stuffed meatballs. Each of the starters pairs perfectly with the flavored margs and non-alcoholic teas available throughout the evening.
